Dr Goral Gandhi Mumbai

Infertility always comes as a stressful phase for most of the couples and it really becomes very tough to manage all that anxiety and depression it brings along in the process. Moreover, people around the person going through this phase must also keep certain things in mind and they must follow certain Dos and Don’ts in the process of dealing with the person. Apart from all that, there are certain words and phrases that you shouldn’t utter in front of the person going through the same situation.

1. Relax and everything will be alright!

Saying someone that ‘ Relax and everything will be alright” doesn’t always work for a person going through the infertility situation as Infertility is generally caused by certain reasons like Poor sperm production, blocked Fallopian tubes or abnormal ovulation. Therefore, the person needs to see a doctor or a fertility specialist and that’s the only way his or her infertility issues would be sorted.

2. Adoption can make you conceive!

Since decades, it’s been existent like a myth in the society around that adopting a child would ultimately make you get off from your infertility issues. Whilst this would come as a good social step towards the well being of all the ‘Parentless kids” in the world around, it doesn’t hold any connection with the Infertility issues with the same person  and shouldn’t be spread further as a myth around as well.

3. Believe in God and he will make it right!

Believing in God is always a matter of faith and spirituality and one mustn’t blame God for everything. Getting the right fertility specialist for the person going through infertility is the key and thus, he or she must not be kept in the dark by using “God” as a subject of matter.

4. Blaming the person for not taking care of him or herself!

Goral Gandhi

This comes as the most commonly used phrase whenever we get to deal with a person going through any type of health issue or ailment and Infertility is no exception as well. Therefore, we must not start blaming the person who is undergoing infertility issues for not taking good care of his health and daily routines as that would make the person more stressful and anxious in the process. Thus, it’s always good to motivate the person and not doing otherwise to make him feel good. Moreover, if you want to consult the best IVF specialist and center around.

When Do You Need to See a Gynecologist?

Dr Goral Gandhi Mumbai

A doctor who specializes in the reproductive system of women is called a Gynecologist. Surely you have heard that most women, who are adults, visit a gynecologist regularly. It is considered a bit awkward to many people. So naturally, people are curious about it. So here I am about to tell you when and how often we should visit a gynecologist, which is obviously a big question for many of us.

First Visit: When the girl should start visiting a gynecologist is a question that sparks uncertainty in many of the teen girl parents. Well, it is very necessary for girls to start their visit as early as 13. The initial visits are mostly conversational. Parents should keep their expectations low because there are hard times when they perform any tests. The visits will include general physical exams including weight, height, and measurements of blood pressure. During visits, they are made aware of risky behaviors such as drinking, smoking, and unprotected sex. A lot of parents think that they do not need to take their daughter to a gynecologist as she is not sexually active but it’s very important to get proper guidance before she starts any sexual activity.

Return Visits: Another big question is whether you should visit a gyno even if you are not sexually active. Well, people unnecessarily associate sex with visiting a gyno. Visiting a gynecologist is all about your vaginal health and above all your health in general. Gynecologists will advise you on how to look after your changing body. It is important to see a doctor when the girl is going through puberty because at this time various questions arise in their mind which they feel awkward to ask even their mother. Before the age of 21, girls must have a full check-up as they start getting regular smears of pap at that age. It does not matter whether they are virgin or sexually active. Women after 21 must have a yearly appointment with their trusted gynecologist and this visit must include a bone mineral density screen, a clinical breast exam, a pelvic exam, a colorectal cancer screen and tests for SIT. Women age 30 to 65 must have a Pap test and HPV test combo once in every five years.

Your doctor will prepare you for a healthy pregnancy. In case you have tried for a long period and there is no sign of pregnancy, you better visit an embryologist.
